Tuesday!

Hello everyone,
It's been awhile since the last time I blogged, life for me is very busy and I barely have the time to take care of myself. On our Tuesday session, we had a presentation on how there are different resources that relate to literary elements that deal with english. I was also very fortunate to get my test back with a grade letter B, I was so happy because I really thought I was going to fail because I didn't prepare that well. I hope everyone is doing good, see you all in Thursday's class.

feeling tired...

Hey guys,
i feel like its been forever since I've seen everyone. Because not a lot of you came to class last time or even this time...
Well last class we relocated and also had a different person speak to us today.
it was really cold in that class I couldn' really concentrate.
I was also pretty tired from my job.

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the presentation by Lynn Quezada. Anyways, I enjoyed hearing the Two-Voice Poem. It's an interesting subject to learn about. I think I will read the books " Under the Blood Red Sun " and " SADAKO and the thousand Paper Cranes ".

Hey everyone,
How was everyone's weekend? My weekend did not go so well because I got sick. I am getting better though. How did everyone do on the test? I got an okay grade but I want to do better. Well I just finished doing the moodle. I'm still trying to fully understand Analysis by Division. But I think I'm getting it.

Last blog for the week...

Did anyone do the extra credit on the exam? The one we had to make a poem by using our names. I did and it went like this:

Finally I caught up....

It is hard for me to blog. I always have to try and find free time to do it. Also I have to find a computer that has internet access. I enjoy blogging. It feels like a journal to me. I write how I feel, experienced and learned in class. I wonder what I will learn this week? I also wonder if Kennan is ever gonna show face? Well see you guys in class.

I have noticed a change....

I feel that my writing skills have improved greatly since I first started. I thought I was good in writing, but after going to class and reading the book I was not so sure. I did not know that we always have to separate the words like don't and can't to do not and can not. I hope everyone feels the same.

Slowly, but surely....

As I sit here and think about my time spent in class, I feel that I am accomplishing something great for my future. I intend on being a high school teacher. Knowing the material that is being taught in class will help me inspire my future students. For example, outlining will help me organize what I plan to teach for the school year.Brainstorming can help me find ways to make the material I teach interesting so my students will not get bored in class. I just hope I manage to retain all the information that I have learned.

Catching up....

I did not do my blogs for last week. I had nothing really to write about. I can talk about my weekend even though nothing interesting happened. I know we all have to do the blog, but what if we do not have anything to write about? I can probably state how I feel about my recent test scores. I am satisfied. Is anyone else satisfied about their results?

Well this being my last blog of the week, this week has been okay. Learning about new ways to write and how to write has really been nice. Well see everyone on Tuesday.

Well this week went by fast. Wow I never knew about Analysis by Division. It was nice reading about it though. Class was okay too. Good Luck and have a safe trip Greg.

I feel so lost this whole week since my grandma came back. Anyways the moodle today was kind of confusing and time fly by so fast when I trying to understand what to do. If my moodle wasn't correct I emailed Dr.Rivera about it.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed class on Tuesday, even though there was just a few of us .I really enjoyed Chapter 8, exercise one when we had to list fifteen forms of exercises and write a short paragraph. It was very interesting.

The test seemed kind of hard. I hope that I did good on it though.
This week was okay. Even though we didn't do much because of moodle and having a test. Well see everyone next week.

I hope everybody did good on the test! I know I did better than the last one we did, because i was in a rush on that one. The acoustic part of the test was really a great way to think out side of the box in literature for me in my perspective.

Sorry that I did not go on my blog yet, because I got grounded and I could not go to my friends house to go online. Right now I kind of sneaked out to a computer cafe to do it. Well everybody seems to be doing good, and I just finished off commenting people who has 0 comments. Hopefully I will get some extra credits.

Well Thursday's class was kinda cool learning about Narrative. I really did not know that much about it, but understanding and reading allowed me to get it. It was nice and maybe it can help me on my future work.

Oh my gosh. I didn't get to blog last week, and I feel so behind. I think I am, man I lost! Can somebody help me out and update me with things? I'm kind of confused with the calender of events not sure why though.

Another one is due...

Our Self-Reflection essay is almost due. It is very tempting to portray myself as an excellent and outstanding individual, but I am not. I have many faults especially when it come to class assignments and participation. Since this is a non-fictional essay and I have to go by facts, it will be hard but I will do my best to my abilities. I believe we all deserve an "A".

Test Results....

So... how did everyone do? I am pretty sure we all did fine. I messed up in some questions. For example, number twelve the question goes, "Underlining helps you to read with ____ ." I put ease for my answer. "Underlining helps you to read with ease." I was wrong. I am satisfied with the grade I got, it is what I deserved. I hope everyone got a grade that they are satisfied with and if you do not there is always next time. "Good Luck!"

Leah's essay...

I just did my moodle that was due since Tuesday. It is quite fascinating to see how the writing process went for Leah. She went through the whole process. If I was going to write an essay I would have skipped a couple of steps. I would probably only have done freewriting and applied CLUESS and COPS. I am pretty sure my fellow classmates would do the same.

This week has gone by so fast for me. How did everyone like that day off because of Charter Day? I forgot we had a moodle that day but thankfully Dr. Rivera gave us til the end of the week to do it. Hope everyone a good time at charter day this past Tuesday and having no classes that day too. But I forget that we had a moodle session on that day too. I'm glad that Dr. Rivera gave us the end of the week to get it done and like to thank her for this chance to not to lose any points.

Hello again! Well I stayed back after class to retake my test, and I am really glad that i got the chance to do so, however i hated the fact that I also had a math test right the next class, so i rushed the test even though I know that it was a bad idea to do so.

Hello everybody! Well this is supposed to make up for my Tuesday blog, so here it is.

Well Thank God we did not have class today, because it is super HOT! I practically wanted to quit in life and go home, well metaphorically. The band that was playing was pretty good because i knew the people in the band. Also i hope everybody tried the rock climbing, because i did not :(.

Man I am disappointed at myself for missing class yesterdayl. I take my attendace very seriously so it kept bothering me yesterday. We like I said in my last blog, my grandparents are off-island so I had to pick up my cousins from school. I thought I was able to make it but was proven wrong because of traffic. I seriously think that has been an increase with cars on the road because lately I have always seem to get stuck in traffic.
Anyways thanks Ronda for informing me about class and Jay and Andrea for caring to check up on me. Don't worry everything is fine with me, just missing my favorite class.

It has been a while since we last saw each other which was during the time we took our test. We didn't have class this week Tuesday because it was Charter Day but then we had to moodle online. Thankfully, Dr. Rivera extended moodle till the end of this week. Well today we have class at four but I might come a little bit late because my grandparents are off island and nobody is able to pick up my cousins from school. Extended Assignments

Hello everyone,
As you know Dr.Rivera has been so kind to let our moodle session be extended till the end of the week. This gives us no excuse not to complete the assignment. Last moodle session I was unable to complete it due to my working situations, that gives me one absent so far for the semester. Well on Thursday we had our moodle session. It was about writing essays. Well I hope we get to discuss more about it the next time we meet. Oh and I was wondering if we have class on Tuesday because I am off for the other classes I have.

Dear classmates,

Well Thursday's moodle was about essays. Well I love writting an essay because it pretty easy once you understand the outline of one. Of course you need to have a topic sentence because without one, your essay won't know where it will be headed. It's like planning your time while you are in college, you need to know what you want to major in so you know what classes to take. The classes will be the supporting sentences to your topic sentence. And recieving your diploma is the conclusion because you finished did everything need into achiving your goals and know everything that you remembered from your class.

Well life for me has been stressful. I've been working while going to class in the afternoon then I have to do my physical activity to stay in shape. In all it's pretty hard to work out because I get so tired from everything, which is bad and unhealthy. So this week I am going to try and change it.

Since the Tuesday plan for class did not work, I made a promise to show up to class no matter what happens. So I showed up and no one was in class and the next best thing is to look for a classmate and see if we actually have class somewhere else or if it was a blog online day. I bumped into Rogelio and he told me it was online today, so I was super bummed out at the moment and wanted to cry. Well metaphorically I wanted to, but I did not.

Well I had a stomach flu on Tuesday and it was not all nice and easy. I do not want to get into details, however I am sorry I could not show up to class and take the test. I was going to show up and be a nice student, but I got sick.

I just finished our moodle assignment awhile ago. I just wrote about what an essay is to me and my experience with it. It also reminded me that I should get started with my essay for this class and my other class. Anyway it's almost 12:00 pm so I should go to bed soon because I still have class tomorrow. Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing good. As for me, I am very busy! At my work our training is getting very difficult. We only have a week of training and then Hooters is open. As of now, I am struggling with memorizing all of what is specifically on the menus. Also I am having trouble remembering all of the dances and songs we are learning. It is not just one or two songs and dances, its more like 8-12 songs and dances put together. Tonight I have to go through another night of training. I am going to work hard to get through this successfully.
As far as the test we took last class meeting, well I don't think I did very well. I didn't even have time to study or go over what was going to be on the test. Its like there is no time in the day for all the things I need to get done.

As you know there was a test today. I think it went well for "the first test" in EN100. It was pretty funny because I came in late because of traffic and was scared that i was going to get point deducted, but thankfully I came before Dr.Rivera. I was kind of shocked to see John and Greg there since they had to leave because of military reason. Anyways the test was pretty much what we learned in class from the book, and the extra credit was pretty intresting. I thought it was funny how Andrea's cell rang then Rowena's vibrated loudly. I love those funny moment, that is why this class is my favorite so far.

Well on Thursday was our moodle session. I have missed the pass two online sessions and I am trying to make up all the stuff I have missed. I really like doing this moodling and blogging because it gets all of us involved in something. I still can not believe that our test is this Tuesday. I wonder how hard its going to be.
